Feeling stuck and unable to move forward in your healing is more normal than you might think. Healing Hope will gently guide you through tools that will help you recognize triggers, unhealthy thinking, and hurdles that are holding you back.
Mentorship is a time of encouragement, grace, and understanding during which we safely discuss private matters that seem overwhelming and hopeless.
About Healing Hope
Healing Hope was designed to create a safe place for married women who have been
betrayed by their spouse through living a hidden life of sexual addiction or have committed infidelity. It covers a book that specifically looks at the pain and grief of the woman.
Healing Hope is Christian-based and specifically for women and their personal journeys of healing. It's a safe place to be real and learn to apply the tools to help you recover.
About the Facilitator
My name is Tami. I was raised in an all-American, dysfunctional family. My Father was a workaholic, and my mother was physically and emotionally abusive. I left home right after graduating from High School and became a missionary for five years before marrying my husband in 1996. While living in the Pacific Northwest, in our 12th year of marriage, my husband disclosed his secrets to me. This marked the beginning of our journey toward recovery, healing, and understanding what it means to live in a healthy marriage. My journey, and his journey.
I have had personal Christian counseling twice in my life by certified counselors to heal from my upbringing, first in my early 30s and again in my early 40s. I joined a wonderful organization called Hope After Betrayal (Hopeafterbetrayal.com) and decided to become a facilitator in 2017 for women who have been betrayed by their husbands' sexual brokenness. I began facilitating groups at Guiding Star El Paso until the pandemic. During the pandemic, I facilitated grief groups through Zoom, then slowly started leading groups again in my home.
I am presently mentoring several ladies on a one-on-one basis. It has been very fulfilling to get to know women more personally, watching them become free from their pain and learn to understand their thought patterns, while progressively becoming strong and confident in who Jesus created them to be.
My husband and I have been married for 31 years. We have three grown children, two boys and a girl. My husband has been an active member of SA El Paso (Sexaholics Anonymous El Paso) for over a decade. Many men are recovering from the addiction. I have facilitated grief groups for 8 years.
“Healing Hope allowed me to breathe for what felt like the first time. I was better able to understand the addiction cycle of pornography and what it means to truly let go of my pain. There are so many things I have learned through Healing Hope.”
